BREAKING NEWS: Republicans pick up their first win in GUAM: Red wave starts in the U.S. territory as it elects its first GOP delegate to Congress since 1993

Republicans took an early scalp in the midterms as Guam voted for its first GOP delegate to Congress since 1993.
Republican Sen. James Moylan defeated Democrat former Speaker Judi Won Pat in the delegate race in the U.S. territory in the early hours of Wednesday morning, the Pacific Daily News reported.
Moylan earned 52.19 per cent of the votes counted to Won Pat’s 47.15 per cent.
Guam’s delegate to Congress is non-voting, and Moylan will be only the second Republican sent to Washington D.C. by the island since it was created in 1972.
In other races the island’s Democratic governor held on by 11 points and Democrats gained a seat in the legislature.
Guam is ‘where America’s Day Begins’, and is 11 hours ahead of Eastern Time.
