The current administration has completely abandoned Former President Trump’s infamous “America First” policy, with Biden completely bowing down to the globalists – and it seems America’s largest corporations are following suit.
The United States Chamber of Commerce describes itself as “the world’s largest business organization,” and they are committed to “shaping the future” through their lobbying efforts.
Suzanne Clark, the group’s CEO, recently delivered an address detailing the organization’s agenda, including how they intend to lobby Washington on behalf of the powerful multinational corporations they represent.
This openly globalist agenda includes pushing the U.S. government to allow for even MORE immigration in 2023 while simultaneously signing new free trade deals – both putting the American worker last.
How so? Immigration and globalization both hurt American workers. Immigrants will work for less wages and globalists push for less benefits—leaving American workers without things like healthcare, vacation time, breaks, and workplace safety.
Clark endorsed UNLIMMITED immigration to the U.S., enabling employers to simply import foreign labor at will rather than hire Americans to do the job.
To achieve this, Clark is calling for Congress to completely remove the caps for employment-based visas. In the past she demanded that Congress double legal immigration levels which would have brought in more than two million immigrants per year – but this 2023 plan is even more drastic than that.
On top of pushing for more immigrants to come to America, the globalist organization has also pressured Congress to grant amnesty to the estimated 20 million illegals who snuck into our country undetected and now permanently reside here.
This flood of illegals has already had a damaging impact on the American worker. Cheap foreign labor leaves middle-class Americans jobless, while increasing the profit margins of the massive corporations represented by the Chamber of Commerce.
Mass immigration has helped keep wages stagnate for decades. Between 1979 and 2013, wage growth for the bottom 90 percent of Americans grew just 15 percent.
If the organization gets its way, that issue will become even more profound.
Along those same lines, Clark has also urged the Biden administration to ink more free trade deals with foreign countries – creating a seamless avenue for corporations to offshore American jobs.
“… it has been 10 years since we’ve added a single new partner to that list. Meanwhile, other countries have inked 100 new trade deals without us,” Clark said. “… resume negotiations on a free trade agreement with the United Kingdom … give the U.S. a stronger foothold in the vitally important African continent, where competitors like China are already making strategically significant inroads.”
According to Breitbart, “From 2001 to 2018, U.S. free trade with China eliminated 3.7 million American jobs from the economy — 2.8 million of which were lost in American manufacturing. During that same period, at least 50,000 American manufacturing plants closed down.”
The destruction of the American middle-class during that time has propped up China – empowering the Communist nation to become an economic powerhouse.
These globalists are determined to systematically dismantle America’s middle-class, which would force people to become beholden to the government, which is exactly why Joe Biden and the rest of the Democrats support these types of policies.
The Democrats are selling everyday Americans out in order to achieve this sick and twisted vision of a new socialist America.
