3P for an America First Victory in 2024
President Trump’s townhall appearance on CNN this week was a great success. He dealt effectively with a hostile host while answering questions from the audience with convincing clarity about what he would do if elected to lead this country again.
If conservatives just stay with the 3P priorities of Peace, Prosperity, and Protection of the border, we will be victorious in 2024 and President Trump will return to the White House to save the USA and the world from this perilous time by bringing back:
1- Peace: The war in Ukraine is in the second year and still going causing lots of destruction and loss of lives. The apparent cause for Russian invasion was Ukraine’s desire to join NATO, which is a left-over military organization from the Cold War days to deter and defend against the Communist Soviet Union (which ceased to exist over 30 years ago.) Putin filled the vacuum of leadership in Russia and used extreme nationalism to become a populist dictator stoking Russian national pride against NATO and the West. The deeper cause is the use of heavy-handed tactics by the US, under President Biden, and the EU, to shut down the use of fossil fuels in favor of everything electric, which will cause severe damage to the Russian economy. President Trump’s more reasonable approach to energy would help poor people struggling with high gas prices and ease the tension of war while letting consumers decide on the future of energy in peace.
2- Prosperity: Up until the Covid-19 pandemic caused the shutdowns of economic activities in March of 2020, the US had the best economy with energy independence, low gas prices, high productivity, and low unemployment rates. The two main factors that led to that prosperity were the “all of the above” approach to producing energy including fossil fuels and the negotiations for “fair trade” with China, which included the imposition of much-needed tariffs on imported Chinese goods. American workers of all types experienced a real increase in income during that time. President Biden destroyed all that with his executive orders restricting the production of oil and coal after one day in office, causing gas prices to double and inflation to roar back, creating misery across the US until now. President Trump can restore energy independence, control inflation, and bring back prosperity across the country.
3- Protection of the Border: While legal immigration is very important to keep the economy growing, illegal immigration is damaging to the economy because it creates stagnant wages, substandard housing with high rent and other social issues such as increased crime rates. Illegal immigration was reduced during President Trump first term, despite the fact that Republican Paul Ryan (then Speaker of the House) and Democrat Nancy Pelosi intentionally did not give the budget to build the wall along the Southern border. Completing the wall and having an immigration reform law in place will get this problem under control again, but Biden and the Democrats are not interested in doing so at all. Republicans will protect the border when Trump returns to the White House in 2025.
The leftist Democrats will try to use many so-called wedge issues to distract voters from the more important 3Ps of the 2024 campaign. -Peace, Prosperity, and Protection of the border- We will have to stay focused to the 3Ps until victory.
