Dr. Nguyen Duong served the South Vietnamese Airforce to the rank of Captain. He was evacuated to the US in 1975 and subsequently joined the US Army Medical Corps, serving as physician in various locations and capacities. He’s now a Retired Colonel of the US Army MC. On Sept/11/2001, Dr. Nguyen Duong was the first physician among the first responders came to the Pentagon right after the attack to rescue many injured and trapped DOD employees.
