In the early hours of this morning, parts of northern Gaza were hit by devastating air and artillery strikes, according to Hamas-run media. The assaults came hours after Israel released images of tanks on the enclave’s west coast, it said.
The Israel Defence Forces claimed to have killed “dozens” of Hamas fighters overnight.
