House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., blasted President Joe Biden, saying that the president projected weakness while meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
“Anyone who looks at this objectively has to agree that President Biden is projecting weakness on the world stage,” Johnson said during a “Cats and Cosby” interview with host John Catsimatidis. “I am from the [President] Reagan school. He always said we maintain peace through strength. He was exactly right.”
On Wednesday, Biden and Xi met at the Filoli Historic House and Garden in Woodside, California, on the sideline of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in San Francisco.
The two world leaders reportedly discussed concerns about fentanyl, Israel’s war on Hamas and military communications.
