Below is some info regarding the 60th Presidential Inauguration, scheduled for January 20th, 2025:
Inauguration Tickets:
Your best opportunity to secure tickets to the Inauguration on January 20th is to participate in a lottery available through some of our elected officials unless you have an inside connection.
Check the link HERE for general information about Inauguration tickets and to find links to the websites of your elected officials.
If you live in Virginia and in Fairfax county, below are links to the ticket lotteries for some elected officials in District 8th and 11th as well as Senator Mark Warner. Other offices have not provided information to acquire lottery tickets with their offices yet.

Please be advised that tickets are not required to attend the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony and the Parade in Washington, DC.
The 2025 Presidential Swearing-In Ceremony will take place on the steps of the US Capitol at noon. The spectators are traditionally permitted to observe the proceedings from a variety of areas open to the public which include general standing areas in and around the National Mall as well as seated sections closer to the Capitol.

The 2025 Inaugural Parade is a procession of the newly sworn-in US President, Vice President, and their families. After the Swearing-In Ceremony and benedictions, a luncheon is held for the newly sworn in administration.
Following the luncheon, they will gather at the East Front of the US Capitol and travel down Pennsylvania Avenue. Marching bands and armed forces personnel accompany them on their march down the avenue as they commemorate this 60th inauguration of the President of the United States, finally arriving at the north end of the White House.
