We look forward to welcoming you to Salute to America 2026 – A Fourth of July Celebration at the Washington Monument in Washington, DC. Please carefully review the following details and instructions to ensure smooth entry into the event. |

SITE ENTRANCE: To enter the site, guests will proceed down Constitution Ave or Independence Ave to the Entry Line located on 14th St. |

| Timing
● Security Magnetometers Open: 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 4, 2026 |
|

| Security
All guests must undergo security screening prior to entering the venue. Please see below for prohibited items. |

|
Food, Water & Amenities
|
✓ Food and water will be available for purchase inside the event site.
✓ Complimentary water will be available inside the event site.
✓ Cooling tents will be available inside the event site. |

|
|
| Clear Bag Policy & Prohibited Items
To enhance security screening and expedite entry into the event venue, all attendees will be required to follow the Clear Bag Policy outlined below.
|
APPROVED BAGS
Each guest may bring one (1) clear, see-through bag not exceeding:
• 12" × 6" × 12" (approximately the size of one large gallon-size freezer bag)
Alternatively, guests may carry:
• One (1) small clutch or purse not exceeding 10" × 6" × 2"
All bags are subject to inspection upon entry. |

STORAGE & SURRENDERED ITEMS: The United States Secret Service does not provide on-site storage or check-in accommodations for prohibited or oversized items. Any items left behind or voluntarily surrendered at security checkpoints will be discarded or turned over for destruction.
Guests are strongly encouraged to review all policies prior to arrival to ensure a smooth entry experience. |

| Road Closures & Public Safety Map
There is no parking at this event. Significant road closures will be in effect throughout Washington, DC on July 4th. We recommend using the Washington DC Metro System for transportation. For Metro information, visit wmata.com.
