This practice troubles me deeply. I feel bad for the modern child staring at cell phones or laptops around the clock, watching short, empty video clips and talking to each other in acronyms. The younger generation does not know the thrill of going to the library and using the Dewey Decimal System to find a good book. They will never know what it feels like to get lost in a story on a rainy day.
