White House senior deputy press secretary Lauren Bis told Newsmax that America is experiencing a massive decline in the number of violent crimes committed across the country under President Donald Trump.
Bis told "National Report" on Monday that "under his administration, we’ve seen the largest decrease in violent crime in American history."
"The murder rate is expected to hit a 125-year low," she said.
She said Trump will be campaigning Wednesday in the Southeast and will spend some time reminding Americans of what has happened since he began his second term as president.
"North Carolina will be a great chance for the president," said Bis, "to showcase all he’s done to restore law and order."
Bis said if Democrats gain a position of power in America in the upcoming midterm elections, things will change rapidly.
"And when you contrast this," she said, "with extreme radical Democrat policies who want to abolish our prisons, they want to release murderers, rapists, pedophiles, criminal illegal aliens back into your communities."
Bis offered that Democrats don’t care about the safety of the nation.
"They want to abolish ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement]," she said. "Republicans are the commonsense party. We are seeing our policies of law and order really work and deliver results for the American people and for American communities."
The deputy press secretary charged that former Democratic President Joe Biden "released millions of illegal aliens completely unvetted into our country.
