Iranian president makes nuclear program offer but insists bomb ‘unholy’

Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian told Fox News’ Bret Baier on Thursday that Iran would be open to lowering its nuclear enrichment levels and allowing outside verification as a first step to renewed negotiations with the U.S.
Pezeshkian also insisted that Iran is not pursuing a nuclear bomb, claiming the country’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei considers the weapon "unholy."
U.S. and Iranian negotiators continued to confer through intermediaries at the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday, with reports emerging that the sides were discussing a reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
Middle Eastern and European countries — including Turkey, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, France, Greece, Spain and Italy — have offered Saudi Arabia material support in the wake of ongoing missile and drone attacks on the kingdom from Houthi terrorists in Yemen.
