1. DAVE MILLER USMC – VIETNAM VETERANS CHAPTER 522 – PINELLAS COUNTY
SHORT BIO:
Grew up in Pennsylvania. Graduated from Springford high school class of 1966 then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and made his career.
Highly decorated Vietnam combat veterans United States Marine Corps, served in Tet offensive Vietnam 1967-1968.
Served as post commander 1994-1999 American legion post 273 (first Vietnam veteran to be post commander post 273)
American legion national hospital representative at bay pines VA hospital over 2 years.
President of Pinellas County Veterans Liaison Council over 18 years
In 1999 he became permanently disabled due to combat wounds and severe cancer due to agent orange exposure while serving in Vietnam
Since David has continued to suffer from his disability and makes his mobility more a problem, he still works to help local veterans with their problems as well as keep patriotism alive and at the top of his priority. He is a proud American and loves his country.
2. FORMER NAVY CAPTAIN OF THE REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM (VNCH): EX-FLEET COMMANDER SON XUAN NGUYEN
Services in the RVN NAVY for 21 years. Evacuated to the USA in 1975. Worked through the ranks in the US industry, as laborer, machine operator, Engineer for 20 years.
Ex- Président Vietnamese- American Communities of the USA.
BS , MS Mechanical Engineering, PHD Engineering Management.
Residence in St. Petersburg.
3. DR. SHERWOOD LIU
SHORT BIO:
Dr. Sherwood Liu is a research faculty with University of South Florida. He is also the vice president of Florida Falun Dafa Association, the group that was persecuted by THE Chinese communist party.
4. DR. PHAM HIEU LIEM
SHORT BIO:
Dr Pham Hieu Liem, retired Stephens Chair and Professor of Geriatric Medicine, current President of Vietnamese American Conservative Alliance.
