Dr. Bansal, a renowned doctor of Shivpuri, explains that nocturia is actually a symptom of blockage of blood flow to the heart and brain.
Adults and the elderly are most affected because they often have to get up at night to urinate. Elderly people do not drink water before going to bed at night for fear of disturbing their sleep. They think that if they drink water, they will have to get up to urinate again.
What they don’t know is that not drinking water before bed or after urinating at night is an important cause of frequent early morning heart attacks or strokes in adults and the elderly.
In fact, nocturia means frequent urination, not bladder dysfunction. This is because heart function in the elderly gradually decreases with age, as the heart is no longer able to suck blood from the lower part of the body.
In such a case, during the day when we are in a standing position, more blood flows down. If the heart is weak, there is insufficient blood flow to the heart and increased pressure on the lower part of the body.
That is why adults and the elderly experience swelling in the lower part of the body during the day.
When they lie down at night, the lower part of the body is relieved of pressure and therefore a lot of water will be stored in the tissues. This water returns to the blood. If there is too much water, the kidneys will have to work harder to separate the water and push it out of the bladder.
This is one of the main causes of nocturia.
So it usually takes about three or four hours from the time you lie down to sleep and the first time you pee. Then, when the amount of water in the blood begins to increase again, after three hours the person must go to the toilet again.
Now the question is why is it an important cause of stroke or heart attack?
The answer is that after urinating 2 or 3 times, there is very little water in the blood. The amount of water in the body is also reduced due to respiration. This causes the blood to become thick and sticky and the heart rate to slow during sleep. Because blood is thick and flows slowly, narrow blood vessels can easily become clogged…
This is why adults and the elderly are always found to have heart attacks or paralysis around 5-6 am. In this condition, they die in their sleep.
1/ The first thing to tell everyone is that nocturia is not a problem of the bladder but a problem of the aging process.
2/ Another thing to tell everyone is that you should drink warm water before going to bed and after waking up to urinate at night. Don’t be afraid of nocturia. Drink lots of water, because not drinking water can kill you.
3/ The third thing is to increase the efficiency of your heart’s performance, you should exercise more during normal times.
The human body is not a machine that will deteriorate if it is abused, on the contrary, the more it is used, the stronger it will become.
Do not eat unhealthy foods, especially starchy foods and fried foods.
