The 2023 Miss Universe pageant, held on Nov. 18 in El Salvador, featured contestants from more than 80 countries competing for the crown.
Olivia Culpo, Maria Menounos and Jeannie Mai are the night’s hosts, and singer John Legend will entertain viewers.
Jeannie Mai was born and raised in San Jose, California, to a Chinese Vietnamese father and a Vietnamesemother.[2][3][4] She attended Milpitas High School.[3]

As a fashion expert, she is frequently featured on television programs such as Today, Extra TV, Entertainment Tonight, and Insider. She has also appeared as a host for E! as well as a red carpet host for the American Music Awards and as a correspondent for the Miss Universepageant. She also hosted the Miss Universe 2022 Pageant held in New Orleans, USA on 14 January 2023. She will host the Miss Universe 2023pageant in San Salvador, El Salvador on 18 November 2023.
